Step 3 – Trial

Step 3 – Trial

Sometimes, the parties are so far apart that an agreement between them just cannot be reached.  At that point, The Gregg Law Firm will begin to prepare for your trial.  If necessary, we will propound discovery on the opposing party or their attorney in an attempt to gather documents in order to prepare for your trial.

As in the Temporary Orders Hearing, your trial will be similar in that the Judge will make his decisions based on the testimony and evidence presented.  The ruling of the Judge will be then drafted by the attorneys called the Final Decree of Divorce to be signed by the Judge at a later date.
